an ode to centennial woods

during the first and second semesters of my time at uvm i had to make a blog for a class. a phenology blog (changes in ecology through the seasons). here is the link to that blog if you want to take a look at it. it's more formal because it was for an assignment, but i love it nonetheless.

The Phenology of Centennial Woods

when will it be my turn?

there is so only so much that can be given. i wonder when it will run out. sometimes i can feel it running out. when will i be the one taken care of? i don't know, maybe someday. maybe not though. maybe it's my nature. maybe i was born to stick out my neck until it breaks. i hope that i find someone who wants to take care of me. or maybe i was born to stick my neck out until it breaks. maybe i don't want to be taken care of. maybe that's the problem. there is only so much that can be given, until my neck breaks. has it already broken? is it limp and falling? i wonder when i will be the one taken care of.

we went to the fish elevator ‧₊ ˚ ⊹ ࣭ ⭑ . ₊

i took my friends to see the fish elevator

there's a salmon elevator in winooski to help with salmon
      migration (because of the dam)
we went to the disco show at spud's spot and then i was like
who wants to go see the salmon elevator
it's a short walk from here
the area with the salmon elevator and the bluffs was under
      construction
i'll take them back when the weather is nicer.
